The Perilous Party

We visited Haselbury Plucknett Primary School this week, to work with their brilliant Year 5s and 6s. The pupils worked their socks off and came up with a great story with a twist that no-one saw coming. Worthy of Agatha Christie, The Perilous Party is a classic old time murder mystery…or is it?

Thanks so much to Ella Jukes and the staff at Haselbury Plucknett who made us so welcome, and to the amazing writers who were so engaged and enthusiastic. We cannot wait to come back and work with them again.

Our story was wonderfully illustrated, live and in the room as the story was being created, by the brilliant Imi Neylan.

And, as always, we would not have been able to come up with the story at all, without the amazing Lu Orza leading us and our incredible team of volunteer writing mentors who support the young people throughout the process. Ambs and Tom, thank you so much!
