The Paranoid Pickle

We had a great time on Friday, working with a fantastic bunch of writers from Salway Ash Primary School. The collective writing talents of Year 3 from Badger Class, came together to create an incredible tale of intrigue and extreme boredom, entitled Paranoid Pickle. Featuring hungry gherkins and a reluctant hero fighting back against the Pickle patriarchy, this action packed story is astounding, surreal and hilarious! The tale has been beautifully illustrated by Francesca Chessa and huge thanks go out to her for her time and expertise.

As ever, we would not be able to run these sorts of workshops without the support of our amazing volunteer mentors. So a big THANK YOU to Lu, and Vega for giving up so much of their time to support these budding authors.

Thanks also to Leif Overment , the headteacher. Salway Ash is an amazing school and we cannot wait to come back.
