Food Fight!

Shute Community Primary School’s headteacher Patrick Germscheid was delighted with the story outcome from his Year 5/6 Badgers class; their gripping tale of a fruit-led Food Fight was our last publication of 2021.

Illustrator extraordinaire Laurie Stansfield joined us again to work her magic, bringing the characters’ exploits to life with some glorious artwork.

The inaugural months of our primary school storymaking workshops were an amazing success, with many more scheduled in 2022.

We aim to reach as many young people as possible to spread the joy of creative writing, with real world outcomes. We are constantly developing our one-off sessions; longer-term projects; after-school clubs; holiday clubs; community links; and a whole load more - the sky’s the limit…

Educators, youth group leaders, community workers: please email jan@thebankofdreamsandnightmares.org to find out more about what we do and discuss potential creative collaborations.
