Excitement for Eggardons at Bridport Primary

Two very different - and equally inspired - storymaking workshops at Bridport Primary school saw Year 4 classes Eggardon A and Eggardon B collaboratively create their own fictional words. The drama studio was full of fun and creativity for these two sessions.

Firstly, A Guinea Pig and a Mysterious Murder involved Biscuit and Mike racing after the travelling circus, only to find it was closed due to a spot of murder. How inconvenient! Illustrations from the superb Staffan Gnosspelius added just the right pinch of sinister to the bloody affair.

The Adventure of Bob, meanwhile, saw a chimpanzee who wanted to swim, a bamboo raft, and a Bank Mank manager guilty of very foul play indeed. Kate Robertson’s illustrated jungle is a joy to inhabit when reading this story.

These story books can be found in TBODAN Hall of Fame, along with our other tall tales from primary schools in the region. Join in the fun by emailing jan@thebankofdreamsandnightmares.org for more info!
