Year 4s explore Destiny through stories

A group of amazing pupils from the Prince of Wales School in Dorchester have become published authors after working with us on stories exploring the theme of DESTINY. Over the course of just four sessions, the pupils chose their theme, planned, wrote and edited their stories. What they’ve produced is a fantastic anthology of tales, all with a (loose) idea of ‘destiny’ at their core. So many exciting, hilarious and even heart-breaking stories were created by this group - we were absolutely blown away! We can’t wait to present them with their finished book: P.o.W.er Stories!

These guys are definitely writers to watch in the future.

Many thanks to Mr Spracklen, Ms Browne and all the incredible staff at the Prince of Wales School. Thanks also to Amy Musgrave for producing the wonderful cover art for this anthology.

As always, this book would simply not have been possible without the expert assistance of our volunteer writing mentors, so a huge THANK YOU to Raja, Jackie and Liz for giving up their time, their patience and their expertise to help these young people develop such amazing stories.
