The Vault meets Cole Brauer

In one of our most action packed interviews yet, the journalists from our after school press club, The Vault, interviewed solo round-the-world yachtswoman, Cole Brauer. To make matters even more incredible, the interview took place mid-race from the middle of the Atlantic Ocean! We spoke to her via satellite link from her boat the First Light as she was approaching the edge of the Southern Ocean. Cole is currently predicted to finish second in this round-the-world race. Cole began her race on 28th October this year and is predicted to finish this amazing endeavour in round 130 days, so she still has a few months to go! Our journalists were keen to question the intrepid 29 year old on whether she felt at a disadvantage being the only female racer, what it felt like to be alone on the open ocean for so long, what she was going to do on her own in the middle of the ocean on Christmas Day!
