Testing, Testing…1,2,3

We spent a fantastic day at Woodroffe School in Lyme Regis, working with Year 11 pupils to record their own Podcasts.

Students explored the notion of identity through various exercises and discussions, before pulling different elements together to write a short personal essay, which reflected the things that are important to them. They then recorded these with TBODAN founder - and tech guru - Nick Goldsmith; their podcasts will be available on our SoundCloud page soon.

We were lucky to have a sterling team of volunteer Writing Mentors onboard to enable these young people to talk about their ideas in an informal setting. Staff at Woodroffe dropped in throughout the day, and were also delighted with pupils’ conversation and creativity.

TBODAN is working with Years 7-11 at Woodroffe over several months to build a whole-school Podcast portfolio, in what is shaping up to be an exciting and enriching project.
