Right Royal Capers at Burton Bradstock

The Platinum Jubilee was a one-in-a-lifetime moment, and we had a wonderful time celebrating 70 years of Queen Elizabeth II’s rein with two royal-themed storymaking workshops at Burton Bradstock.

Utter carnage is the best way to describe Kingfisher class’s hilarious and cautionary tale of the consequences of not feeding one’s dog. Hugh Dunford Wood illuminated this corgi caper further with his beautiful painted illustrations alongside the developing story.

Owl class created a unique royal family member: Prince Potato Pete, who feared becoming a french fry and also suffered with recurring nightmares of Gordon Ramsay. Daria Lukyanova brought Prince Pete to life, complete with power potato pose and nightmarish deep fryer fright.

A right royal legacy from Burton Bradstock Primary School.
