Calling all illustrators!

Illustrators, we need your help. We’re looking for volunteers to live illustrate children’s stories and play a key role in our creative writing workshops.

Every week, we welcome groups of up to 30 primary school students to become authors at The Bank of Dreams and Nightmares. 

Live Illustrator, Storymaking workshops

As a class of children co-create their own story, you will live illustrate characters and action. Your pictures will be featured in beautiful storybooks that the children will take home at the end of the workshop. It’s a great way to kickstart creativity at the beginning of your day. Where ever possible we try and have an illustrator in the room, but we can also work with the illustrator remotely via a zoom link.

Timings: 09.30 – 11.00am weekday mornings. You’re welcome to stay for the full workshop and debrief from 9am – 11:30am to see the finished product, but you don’t have to.
