CALLING ALL ILLUSTRATORS

ILLUSTRATORS, WE NEED YOUR HELP. WE’RE LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS TO LIVE ILLUSTRATE CHILDREN’S STORIES AND PLAY A KEY ROLE IN OUR CREATIVE WRITING WORKSHOPS.

EVERY WEEK, WE WELCOME GROUPS OF 30 STUDENTS  TO BECOME AUTHORS AT THE BANK OF DREAMS AND NIGHTMARES.  AS THE CLASS OF CHILDREN CO-CREATE THEIR OWN STORY, YOU WILL LIVE ILLUSTRATE CHARACTERS AND ACTION. YOUR PICTURES WILL BE FEATURED IN BEAUTIFUL STORYBOOKS THAT THE CHILDREN WILL TAKE HOME AT THE END OF THE WORKSHOP.  IT’S A GREAT WAY TO KICKSTART CREATIVITY AT THE BEGINNING OF YOUR DAY.

Timings: 09.30 – 11.30am weekday mornings. We will send you a zoom invite the day before, and in the session you will see the story being typed up as it is being created, and be able to hear the room. We would love you to share the work before the end as the children get very excited to see their story coming to life.

Lead illustrators will need to complete a DBS check which we will help you with.  Just complete the form here and we will get it all started.
