Woodroffe Writers Show Willing
Another fantastic morning at The Woodroffe School, where we had our penultimate Podcasting session for this academic year. Year 7 students participated with terrific focus and creativity as we explored Identity and the many things that can include, and carried out short tasks to write their own personal essays. We then recorded these for a Podcast.
One of the important things we do is give our young writers a journal to draft their work, doodle, and generally enjoy the creative process. This safe space to write is a vital part of a writer’s toolkit; the manner in which the pupils made these journals their own also shows they are an invaluable part of their identity and creativity.
