A Cheshire Cat and a Kiwi Konflict

It was a World Book Day extravaganza at Thorncombe St Mary’s primary school, with some fabulous costumes including the Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland (pictured here looking a bit topsy turvy).

The whole of Key Stage 2 (Years 3-6) collaborated en masse to write their story about a kiwi fruit named Stewart, whose greatest wish was to fight a sumo wrestler, and whose worst fear was having a bad hair day. No spoilers here, but Boris Johnson did make an appearance is this crazy tale that hung together beautifully.
