Fire vs Water

Appropriately titled Fire vs Water, Bridport Primary School’s other Year 5 storymaking session involved developing the elements as character, with Ember the firefox and Ocean the water fox having fallen out many years prior.

In our storymaking sessions we ask the children to work collaboratively to write the story to a cliffhanger moment, before writing individually to create their own unique endings. In this session we were rewarded with a first for TBODAN: a literal cliffhanger as a cliffhanger! Beautifully captured by illustrator Kate Robertson, this is another one not be missed. Read it here.
